When PlayStation Vita was first released, many customers might be concerned about exceeding the maximum monthly data limit of a whooping 2 GB. However, when the handheld’s 3G type comes to AT&T next month, the AT&T networks seems to be unwilling to take any risks at all. Quoted from the Vita’s product page on the AT&T website, it seems that they are making sure that customers will never get blocked from exceeding those data download threshold of PlayStation Vita by increasing the originally announced package of $25 for 2GB to $30 for 3GB. Don’t be surprised because this change is just one of those changes that Sony’s next generation handheld has in line with regards to the AT&T’s networks’ updated data plans. For those who want to spend less, the option of $15 for 250 MB for your PlayStation Vita is still there and will be adequate as long as you do not stream video contents online. However if you are a Netflix avid fan, this plan will not get you far and you will easily pay more than the package price.
