The most common reason one chooses a notebook rather than a netbook is that the performance of a notebook is higher in standard as it uses a more advanced processor. However, Asus has tried to create a notebook that has the size of a netbook but with a more powerful processor. Its latest creation, Asus U24E, is equipped not with an Atom processor commonly found in a netbook, but with a Core i5 2430m processor that works much faster. The display supports 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, 2 ports of  USB 3.0, HDMI port and  7 hours battery life. Besides, Asus U24E also comes with a very affordable price tag of under $1000, which is a bargain for a notebook. The memory is 4 GB RAM and there is plenty of space for you to save your important files as the hard disk size is 750 GB. All of this comes at a total weight of less than 1.5 kilograms, which means you can carry it around effortlessly.
