
HP has just announce their several new laptops “ProBook series and EliteBook Series”. HP has two new model of EliteBook series: The EliteBook 2740p which has a 12.1-inch ultra thin convertible tablet design with multi-touch system, 1,280 x 800 resolution and boast Core i7 and Core i5 processors. It has up to 8GB DDR3 memory and Intel HD graphics with 320GB HDD or 160GB SSD include MIL-STD 810G support which make this laptop tough from vibration, dust, humidity, altitude and temperature resilience and chemically-strengthened glass display panel. The display has compatible with pen-input and also equipped with 2MP webcamoptional EVDO/HSPA (with GPS), a choice of WiFi (b/g or a/b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity.

Next HP EliteBook model is the 2540p, also a rugged laptop with MIL-STD 810G support and shares features with the 2740p of processor, 8GB DDR3 memory and most of specs. The different from EliteBook 2740p are: it only has 3.3lbs weigh while the 2740p at 3.8lb, with non-swivel screen and has longer battery life up to 10.5 hours 9-cell pack. Both HP EliteBook 2740p and EliteBook 2540p will available on April with targeted price at $1,599 and $1,099.
