HP is offering convertible netbook based Intel Classmate PC design. Its the Mini 100e, features a 10.1-inch LED backlit WSVGA display with 92% full size QWERTY keyboard and powered by solid Intel Atom 455 processor along with 1GB DDR3 RAM, Intel NM10 Express chipset, three or six-cell battery option and runs Windows® XP Home, Windows 7 Starter, or SuSE Linux (SLED 11) OS. HP has equipped the Mini 100e convertible classmate netbook with spill resistant keyboard, a VGA webcam, optional Wi-Fi Certified WLAN and an integrated worldwide modem (the V.92 standard) enables dial-up internet connection for students internet service.
