Europe has just introduce their debut eco-friendly netbook to the world. Its the iUnika’s netbook, called as the GYY. This netbook equipped with 8-inch WVGA display and able to perform at 800 x 480 pixels resolution. iUnika GYY has claimed as the world first eco-frienly netbook which use solar power as the battery power. Its powered by 400MHz MIPS processors with 128MB of RAM, a 64GB SSD drive and GNU/Linux as the operating system. The solar panels mounted is placed on the rear of the display besides that iUnika GYY netbook casing also made from bioplastics and other biodegradable materials to avoid starch and cellulose. Based on the iUnika statement, the GYY solar power netbook will be released around June with targeted priced at $216 (160 Euros).
