Japanese mobile phone users can be happy because finally there is an LTE smartphone in Japan, brought to the country by the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE. It made its maiden appearance on the NTT DoCoMo and will run on the Japanese carrier’s next generation Xi network. As a result of this high-technology feature, users can enjoy a download speed of about 37.5 Mvps on their Samsung Galaxy S II LTE phone. It will cost only around $260 or ¥20,000 in Japanese Yen currency with a two year contract purchase. DoCoMo has already stated its ambitious plan to get the carrier’s mobile phones on as many as 30 million customers by 2015. It is also planning to release more 4G phones before the end of the year, so as to fill in the void gap of iPhone in the company’s phone release collection.
